Too bad this country blows and doesn't really get music from other countries, except for fucking Japan apparently. I'd like to hear some real music done in Russian or something, but I have no clue what to look for which makes it pointless to bother because then if the first result sucks, I'll be put off. Here is an awesome German/Russian band who plays Russian speed-folk: http://www.akkordeon-rock.de/ speed folk more like polka with something else. www.torkvar.com/klone idk where they from but they are weird listening to gone- aventura

Dear The World, Just because something has an accordion does not mean it's polka. Your sworn enemy, Andrew G Weitzel.

As a foreign exchange student once told me, Germans didn't invent Polka. The Polish did. Make of that what you will. I'll just add that I have never seen any proof that typical Polack jokes are realistic at all.

LoonyLovegood- 03-17-2006

okay ...i didnt know it was the germans that did it i thought it was polka cuz the pol from polish or something idk...i didnt mean to try to dash it out anyway i actually do listen to stuff like that just not on a regular basis or stuff.

I just said the Polish invented Polka. Since I can't explain what the point was, just forget it.
