thats cool Chadwick u like j pop.
Yeah, it kind of happened by accident. I was browsing some random site not too long ago and saw this article that was comparing Ayumi Hamasaki to Britney Spears. Strangely enough, something compelled me to take a listen to some of her songs. Now that I have a better understanding of Ayumi, I can safely say there's no comparison between her and Britney. Ayumi has talent; Britney does not. And as time passed, I opened myself up to other J-pop artists. I find it very addictive.
Currently listening to:
ZONE - Egao Biyori
Amen to that! Yah no comparison what so ever j pop and j rock artist actually have talent and express themselves.

I hear a gentle voice from somewhere
Which might have always been heard
The warmth found just near to meI was forgiven by forgiving many things
Including my childhood so long ago
I was healed, though I intended to heal
I've just noticed, in the way
That I was saved by love
Though I tried to keep love awayYou come down quietly from somewhere
And always tell me
Of the happiness just near to meSupporting and being supported
I draw close to you little by little
Protecting and being protected
I get convinced
That I was saved by love
Though I tried to keep love awayIf you have a pain hard to get over
Shall we share it and walk on?
Gathering pleasure too big for each of us
Shall we share them and walk on?I sing this song only to you now
I sing this song only to you now
You are my special treasure
You are my special treasure

Too bad this country blows and doesn't really get music from other countries, except for fucking Japan apparently. I'd like to hear some real music done in Russian or something, but I have no clue what to look for which makes it pointless to bother because then if the first result sucks, I'll be put off.

Here is an awesome German/Russian band who plays Russian speed-folk:

If there's a combination that can be very untrustable, it's German-Russian.
